Irish Night with Scott and Scherene!

Fiddler Scherene Auchterlonie and multi-instrumentalist Scott Henderson bring an evening of Irish music. This local duo has been invited to perform at the Halifax Celtic Festival April 17-21 as well. Take the opportunity to watch them right here in Digby!

Scott has been immersed in traditional and contemporary folk and celtic music for over 30 years and has peformed professionally at hundreds of events and venues, playing uilleann & border pipes, flutes and whistles, as well as providing stirring vocal arrangements accompanied by Irish bouzouki and guitar.

Scherene is a fiddler with a lifelong devotion to traditional music. Rooted in her upbringing immersed in Old Time Canadian dances, square dances, and country music, Scherene's musical palette has expanded to encompass a diverse range of styles, including Scottish, Irish, American Old Time, Jazz, and Classical.

As a duo, Scott and Scherene blend their individual musical lineages to craft a sound that extends the boundaries of living tradition.
